The Lite On SOHC-5236K COMBO drive is able to write CD-R media at 52x maximum, rewrite Ultra-Speed CD-RW media at 32x maximum, and read CD-ROM media at 52x maximum. It is not only a powerful Ultra-Speed CD-RW ReWriter but also a fast DVD-ROM reader. It can read DVD-ROM media at 16x maximum. An excellent LITE-ON IT COMBO drive with multiple functions can meet your desires for multi-media applications and exciting DVD movies. Built-in SMART-BURN technology provides Buffer UnderRun Free function and great media compatibility for high-speed writing CD-R / CD-RW media. Innovative SMART-X technology provides smooth & stable Audio CD / VCD / DVD playback and high-performance DAE / VCD / DVD data extraction. The length of SOHC-5236K COMBO drive is 17 cm only, shorter than other half-height optical drives. It is very easy to be installed into your PC system, especially for mini barebones.
